Im just a man, and I make art. I am a father, I am a husband, I am a brother, and I am a son. I am better than no man. I make my work for me and for you, I make my work because it is the only thing I am willing to do. I have a passion for creating. I have a passion for printmaking; it is in my blood and as long as I am still breathing, I will be making art. This is my way of communicating my thoughts, ideas and opinions. I try to identify what makes us who we are as Americans in my art. My work is about taking all this visual pollution that we are forced to live with everyday and exploit it as trash. The reality is we cannot run and hide from all this visual pollution but what we can do is think about it. We as Americans and humanbeings, need to step back and take a good look at our society and our environment and try hard to see through it all. See through all the military propaganda, advertisments trying to tell us what we need and who we should be, and how we should look and act. If we all start doing this, and make it a point to educate ourselves, without anyone else telling us what to think, then we as Americans and as humans can start being civil to one another, person to person and our nation to other nations. I'm giving my work and some of my soul to be seen. I'm not sure what will become of all this, but I thank anyone who has interest in my work. I do this for myself, but it makes it worth the while if my work impacts or inspires anyone. I know now that this is what I'm meant to do. I am an American Printmaker.

Thank you in advance,

Jesse
